THE WASHING PART IS GD BUT THE DRYER IS USELESS

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"AS LONG AS IU HAVE HAD THIS MACHINE I HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPY WITH THE DRYER, SOMETIMES THE CLOTHES COME OUT AS WET AS THEY WENT IN ANY IDEAS I HAVE MISLAID THE INSTRUCTIONS B THOMAS"

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"I did quite a lot of research before we bought this machine and it seemed the best bet within our budget.
When it arrived, it was much larger than the measurements given, so it doesn't fit under our worktop and prevents us opening one of our cupboards.
It's quite energetic and "walks" out from under the counter when it is on a spin or dry cycle, requiring it to be manually pushed back in - it's not light (no washers ever are) and this is a pain in the bottom when you have to do this after almost every wash!
The dryer filter is difficult to clear, and every time something gets stuck in there, we end up flooding the kitchen. This is not ideal, but it doesn't happen often & we can live with it.
Apart from those fairly minor gripes, we have been very happy with our machine for over a year.
Unfortunately, about one week after the original warranty expired (luckily we'd bought an extended one - phew) we started to get an HE2 error on the display. This is not in the manual - but a quick google tells me that this is a "Heating Element Error" and usually requires a replacement of same.
The engineer came out, replaced the element and went away.
Less than a month later, it happened again.
This time, the engineer (different chap) didn't know what the error message meant, even though we had told them on the phone, and asked me to run a dry cycle to show him. 15 minutes in, he left. 5 minutes after that it errored.
I phoned his mobile and left a voicemail & sent a picture message fo the error. After a couple of hours of not hearing back, I phoned the office again, only to be told that I had to re-book the engineer to come back out - 4 days later.
This time, the engineer (different chap) didn't know what the error message meant, even though we had told them on the phone, and asked me to run a dry cycle to show him. 15 minutes in, he left. 5 minutes after that it errored.

Today (less than a month after that) I have the same HE2 message on my machine.
I can only conclude that there is a fault with the machine itself which is causing this and am about ready to demand a new machine!"
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"I have had this washer/dryer for less than 3 years and the pump has broken 3 times. Now out of labour warranty so will have to pay for repair. Will probably replace rather than repair but NOT with another samsung"
