A great TV but let down by compatibility issues with Samsung soundbar

I would recommend this to a friend!
"A excellent TV with great SMART features (now BBC iPlayer and ITV player have been added).
Picture is excellent when viewed within about 60deg. Outside this, picture is good but contrast is lost a little.
Sound is really quite good from internal speakers especially given the adjustments than can be made.

Unfortunately, this TV is let down by one major problem in its compatibility with a Samsung sound bar connected via the HDMI-ARC. Sound suffers from regular short dropouts that make the soundbar unusable.
I can't recommend the set if you intend using the HDMI-ARC (Audio Return Channel) feature."
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, design, smart functions
Cons: hdmi-arc does not work, viewing angle

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"Tried to get support to have the iplayer added to no avail. Bought this as a Smart TV and it isn't really that good as we cannot load the BBC iPlayer and I get comflicting advise whether it is ready or not for download."
