I would recommend this to a friend!
"Good points: excellent picture quality, good 3D, pleasant design, relatively light & thin for size, huge screen size.
Bad points: brightness pops (picture brightness flickers up & down during viewing) short power lead, buzzing noise.
As you can see, the pros outweigh the cons, the brightness pops are noticeable to me, don't know about other people and they aren't really bad enough to detract too much from viewing pleasure, but they are there, I have managed to reduce them as much as I can by adjusting just about every setting on the television. Hopefully this problem may be addressed by a future firmware update, as it was with my previous TV. The buzzing seems to be a problem with a small number of sets, only noticeable at very low volumes and not really a problem for me.
Overall the TV is excellent, it looks great wall mounted and I was surprised at how light & thin it was, actually lighter & thinner than the 47" LCD it replaced. The picture is bright, colourful & crisp, as with most large screen HD tv's, standard definition content can look poor, but as I mostly watch HD, it isn't a real issue for me. 3D is good, little ghosting or flickering, although this of course varies greatly depending on the actual content you are watching and the bundled 3D glasses are quite good. The smart content is ok, I enjoy watching the 3D clips & trailers, I haven't really delved into any of the other apps available. The DLNA compatibility is excellent, I especially like the way my NAS drive appears as a source on the TV, so I can stream content directly without going into the smart hub."
