I would recommend this to a friend!
"I have just brought this lovely monitor for my office and it looks amazing and performs very well. The display is clear and crisp with easy to use functions. The speaker is better than I had expected with rich deep sounds that put other built in speakers to shame! Over all if you want a monitor that is elegant and practical this is defiantly the one."
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color

Poor Black Levels & Sound Quality

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"Purchased this rather than a budget monitor and was impressed at first. Using it connected to a PS3 and a small PC. However I have been unable to get the monitor to give any decent black levels and as a result the picture quality when watching movies is very bad. Even trying the various auto and manual settings and resetting I have been unable to get anything better than murky greys. Sound quality from the inbuilt speakers is flat and tinny at best, and there is a noticable low level background hum whichever source or cable I use. Adjusting the volume level is a task in itself requiring multiple button presses to access the menu to change the setting.
If you are looking for a general PC monitor then it does perform OK, but for multimedia it's a big letdown."
