No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"2 Major Flaws: 1. Opening the cover (and folding it back behind the tablet) blocks the camera! You can't take a picture without holding the lid up in the air! 2. No "lid close/sleep" function. The lid flops and is not magnetic like the iPad cover, which I expected. Samsung has such a great reputation I did not expect this to have such a glaring oversight like blocking the camera."
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"You have to remove the note from the case to take a picture. When you open the cover it covers the camera. You would think someone at Samsung would have caught this mistake."
