The Megapixels are a mystery

I would recommend this to a friend!
"Overall this camera does a good job and the images are sharp,the colours true.
I set the photo size to 14 megapixels and when I transfer them to my computer they are much smaller.Meaning I have to resample them before submitting to any stock photo agencies. I can find nowhere to show how to overcome this. The manual which is annoyingly on CD does not cover it"

Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations, megapixels seem far less than claimed
