Great accessories for the Slate for majority of meetings... until HDMI becomes the defacto...

I would recommend this to a friend!
"A must have especially when using the slate for presentations etc. HDMI is used, but not widely available, so VGA connections for projection facilities is still probably needed for a little while longer. Would be great for Samsung to have included this with their Slate though."
Pros: Durable, Lightweight
Cons: should be included with sale of device...

Dreadful picture quality at higher resolutions

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
"As noted by the other reviewer for many people use of VGA is essential. Consequently I purchased this samsung mini HDMI/VGA adapter for use with my S7 slate. From the first day I was disappointed with the quality on a 1440x900 monitor, which was razor shap on my Lenovo laptop. I
had assumed it was something to do with the touch optimisation on the slate and tried fiddling with dpi and video settings and I just couldn't get an image that didn't look like it was being displayed at the wrong resolution.
Fast forward five months and I have just upgraded to a 1920x1080 image and the output is unusable. Text is blurred and cannot be improved with true type, and their is clipping and colour banding visible on the graphics. I assumed I had a dud adapter so bought a second one, but no the same problem exists.
I have now switched to connection via HDMI via the dock and the image is perfect. Effectively the VGA adapter is near useless for outputting to anything other than standard projector resolutions. Even worse, when using it I was getting interference lines when the fan span at full speed. This really does seem to be a poor piece of kit that isn't up the job."
Pros: essential for many business users
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations
